Kevin and Melanie Griffin

-Lead Pastors

Kevin and Melanie came to Cornerstone Church in the summer of 2000.  Kevin received his degree from Lakewood Bible Institute after completing his Pastoral Studies under the late John Osteen.  Kevin was ordained through the Assemblies of God after completing his Ministerial Studies through Berean University.  In 2007 he received his Doctor of Ministry through the International Institute of Biblical Theology.  With over 30 years combined ministry experience, Kevin and Melanie have witnessed that nothing is impossible for God.   They have personally walked the road from tragedy to triumph when Melanie was diagnosed with cancer while carrying their first child.  Whether in a church service, a conference or a retreat, they boldly proclaim that Jesus still saves, heals and delivers.  Their greatest accomplishment in ministry has been their three lovely children who currently serve with them in ministry.

Michael Ramirez

-Music & Media Pastor

At the young age of 14, Michael Anthony Ramirez started leading worship for Road to Damascus Church in San Antonio.  There he sensed the call of God on his life to full time ministry.  In 2004, he and a few others began a Ministry called Freedom Fridays  where churches from the area came together to worship and hear the word of God.  In 2006, he went on to be the worship leader for Altared Youth Ministries at Valley Hi Assembly of God.  In 2008, Michael and his wife Kimberly moved to Winnie, TX where he leads worship full time at Cornerstone Church.

Jerry & Misty Leverett

-Children's Ministries --- Kid's Connection

Jerry and Misty have been impacting the lives of children at Cornerstone church since 2001, reaching different ages from the nursery to sixth grade.  In December of 2002, Jerry and misty married.  Their love for Children was evident when in 2005, while expecting their third boy, they adopted their only daughter. In 2007 God called them into a deeper walk as the children's ministers of Cornerstone Church.

"Our heart for children has never changed throughout the years of our ministry.  We know God has called us to help lay a foundation of Christ in each life that we minister to."

Karen J. Cravy

As director of Women's Ministries here at Cornerstone my main passion is freedom to be who we are called to be in Christ.  Freedom was given to me from a past full of bad choices, full of pain and full of failure.  God has shown me the truth of Romans 8:28 that says "All things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose."  So in our Women's Ministries we strive to grow in the knowledge of Him, which naturally causes us to fall more in love with Him.  We also strive to find and fulfill our purpose in His great plan.  In Christ we are all able to do great things and I don't want to miss one single adventure He has planned for me.

Lester & Jessie Mouton

 -College and Career Leaders

Lester and Jessie Mouton come to us with a rich background in ministry and are filled with vision for the future.  Both feeling a Call to Ministry, they attended and graduated from Texas Bible Institute under Founders and Pastors, Tommy and Rachel Burchfield.  After a great friendship they took their relationship further and married in January of 2002. They have served as both Youth and Children’s Pastors and have great talent and ability in various areas of ministry.  Joining the Cornerstone Church Staff in 2008, and serving as the Leaders for Relevant, a Young Adult College and Career group, Lester and Jessie find themselves right in the middle of God’s will for their lives.   After watching so many young adults falling out of the church after graduating from high school, proclaiming that there is nothing “Relevant” for them in church, Lester and Jessie heard the Call of God!  Their vision is to see young adults find the relevancy of God in their lives, their families, and their friends.  It is their hope that these young adults see that the Impact that they made in youth will still be Relevant when they continue their journey with God.

Taylor Thompson

-Youth Pastor

Taylor Thompson is the youth pastor here at Cornerstone Church. He was raised in Winnie, Texas. Taylor is attending Lamar University in Beaumont Texas where he is working on obtaining a bachelors degree in Human Resource Management. He is also taking classes through Global University working towards his licensed level of ministerial credentials. Taylor has a heart for the youth in this community and a desire to see young people all around this world fall in Love with Jesus.
